Reviews & public profiles
Reviews are tied to real visits, restaurants can reply publicly — and reviewers appear with a public foodie profile.
Reviewing after a visit
After a completed visit the guest is invited to review — stars plus optional text. Reviews appear on the restaurant page in the app; the restaurant gets notified and can respond publicly in a reply thread. Other guests can like helpful reviews. A published review earns +30 foodie points.
Public foodie profiles
A guest profile is private by default. Only publishing a review opts the guest into a public reviewer identity — name, avatar, foodie level (Explorer to Legend), visit badges, review count and "member since". Guests who never review stay invisible.
Every review shows its author’s level and badges — e.g. "Local Hero" from 25 visits. Tapping the name opens the public profile with all of that person’s reviews.
"My reviews"
The account tab holds "My reviews": all of the guest’s own reviews in one place, with edit and delete. Deleting the last review makes the profile private again.
The restaurant side
In the backoffice and team app, restaurants see new reviews instantly (optionally as push), reply in the thread and keep an eye on the average. Neo helps draft a reply — sending always remains a human decision.
Moderation
- Every review can be reported; reported content gets reviewed.
- Users can block other users — their content disappears from the blocker’s view immediately.
- A server-side filter rejects texts with objectionable language at submission time.
